The photos are here!!! I’m sorry the thank you notes took so long to get to you. I had been fighting with the photography company to get our video back until now! And I wanted everything to be here for you all to see. Also scroll down the page to see what we’ve been up to in the year since the wedding.

In the Year Since…

October 2025

We hung out with our friends before they left back to England after the wedding, went to Medieval Times, Chicago Botanical Gardens, and spent Halloween at our favorite Spanish Restaurant with our parents.

We spent Thanksgiving with family and enjoyed the snow.

November 2025

December 2025

We took an 11 hour roadtrip from Chicago to Oklahoma City to see our friend. We stopped off in St. Louis and Lake of the Ozarks along the way and even enjoyed a private cave tour.
Jojo got to spend his first Christmas in the US and loved it

Julie won an award at work right before they left on their Honeymoon to Disney World in Orlando, FL for two weeks. Jojo had never been there before and absolutely fell in love with the place. He lived in his love of Star Wars almost every day we were there and even got on one of his favorite rides by himself! There was an insane amount of walking, averaging out to 17,000 steps per day!

January 2026

February, March & April 2026

These months were quieter. We were exhausted from all the wedding planning and going on the honeymoon. We spent our 5 Year dating anniversary together at our favorite restaurant downtown, The Girl and The Goat.
We also went to a beer festival and a few shows.

July & August 2026

May & June 2026

We went to a few more shows and finally got the dream tabletop gaming table we’ve wanted. We also enjoyed as the weather started getting better and spent more time outside.

We enjoyed our first 4th of July together and watched the World Cup while cheering on England. Unfortunately, at the end of July, Jojo got sick and he was admitted to the hospital for two days. He had been sick for about 2 weeks before he got much worse quickly and we went to the ER where they admitted him. He was diagnosed with a hernia and is still struggling with nausea, pain, and overall uncomfortableness since. Not a wonderful note to end on, but it is something we’re working through together, in sickness and in health.

We’ve had quite the year and we thank you so much for being kind and supportive of us as we build our lives and love each other.
